OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented Engineering Technician with CAD drafting experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background in architectural or engineering drafting and construction. The ideal candidate will help bring our designs to life through detailed 2D plans and 3D visualizations, assisting in construction drawing development, site assessments, client presentations, permitting support, design revisions, budgeting, and project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop precise 2D CAD drawings for swimming pools, spas, decks, and related outdoor structures.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineers and project managers to develop and modify technical drawings based on client needs and site assessment.
  • Create 3D models and renderings to support client presentations and construction planning.
  • Interpret site surveys, geotechnical reports, and structural specifications to create feasible and cost-effective designs.
  • Work closely with the engineering and construction teams to ensure designs are structurally sound and buildable
  • Ensure compliance with Florida building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
  • Revise drawings based on redlines, client preferences, and engineering requirements.
  • Maintain and organize CAD files, design revisions, and project documentation using AQUAVIX Pool’s unique methodology.
  • Perform or verify field measurements and site assessments if required.
  • Assist in building permit application/management process as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical foundation in mechanical, civil, or architectural drafting (preferred over purely artistic design skills).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for detailed 2D construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and basic rendering (Pool Studio, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret site surveys, blueprints, engineering specifications, and permitting requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Must be US citizen or have legal work status.

PREFERRED

  • Degree or certification in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Understanding of structural integrity, construction materials, and building techniques.
  • Experience in swimming pool, landscape, or outdoor structure design.
  • Knowledge of Florida pool construction regulations and permitting processes.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, plumbing, and structural aspects of pool construction.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Part-time position, 10-30 hours per week initially, with potential to migrate into full-time position.
  • Flexible work arrangements with a minimum of 5 hours/week of in-office work.

COMPENSATION

  • $25-35/hour depending on qualifications and experience.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, scheduling, and tracking of our swimming pool and outdoor construction projects. This role requires expertise in project management software (JobTread preferred) to ensure seamless coordination, financial oversight, and collaboration with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, purchasing, and budgeting, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules using JobTread, ensuring all construction activities are properly sequenced and resourced.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and track project timelines, milestones, and task completion, proactively addressing delays or issues.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight: Track project costs, budgets, and financial reports, ensuring adherence to cost estimates and identifying any variances.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they meet scheduled timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
  • Procurement & Materials Management: Work closely with our purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide regular project updates to management, clients, and team members, ensuring alignment on project progress and challenges.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential construction delays, conflicts, or budget overruns, and proactively implement solutions.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all permits, contracts, change orders, and regulatory requirements are properly documented and maintained.
  • Maintain and organize project files and project documentation using AQUAVIX Pool’s unique methodology and systems.

  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in swimming pools, hardscapes, or outdoor living projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Jobtread (preferred) or similar.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, purchasing, and financial tracking.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Must be US citizen or have legal work status.

PREFERRED

  • Experience managing residential or commercial outdoor construction projects.

The Administrative Assistant position requires a proactive, organized, detail-oriented person who will port our swimming pool construction company will assist our Office Manager with a variety of administrative tasks in areas such as permit management, purchasing, showroom management, and general administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Permit Management

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of building permit applications for swimming pool construction projects.
  • Interact with clients to gather necessary information for permits.
  • Communicate with local municipalities by phone and email as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of permit status and related documentation.
  • Schedule inspections.

2. Purchasing

  • Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies for swimming pool projects as planned in our project management system.
  • Obtain price quotes from suppliers and place purchase orders.
  • Track and manage deliveries.
  • Maintain an inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring sufficient stock levels are consistent with project requirements.
  • Update pricing information in our project management system.

3. Showroom Management

  • Maintain our showroom properly organized and always ready for customer visits.
  • Organize showroom samples, brochures and display fixtures.
  • Organize general supplies, coffee supplies and beverage refrigerator.
  • Manage computer slideshows.

4. General Administrative Support

  • Provide general office support and assist with administrative tasks such as document filing and data entry.
  • Help organize and maintain project files, contracts, and other documents.
  • Coordinate customer and vendor appointments and meetings as needed.
  • Answer and re-direct emails and other inquiries related to construction projects.
  • Perform other miscellaneous administrative tasks as directed by the Office Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn and work with miscellaneous business applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Ability to handle intense levels of phone activity with vendors and city representatives.
  • Previous work experience in an office environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Must be US citizen or have legal work status.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of permitting processes in the construction industry.
  • Experience in purchasing and inventory management.

SCHEDULE

  • Part-time position, 20 hours per week (4 hours/day, 5 days/week).
  • Flexible hours available.
  • Work on site (office/showroom)

COMPENSATION

  • $18-25/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
