Our journey began when Victor Mendes, a seasoned engineer and entrepreneur, encountered firsthand the inefficiencies and lack of sophistication in South Florida’s swimming pool construction market.
Having already built a successful career leading multinational corporations as a global CEO, Victor had a deep understanding of process optimization, quality control, and operational excellence.
With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brasilia and a master’s degree in Precision Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Victor had spent decades at the forefront of technology, automation, and process-driven industries. His experience at General Electric, where he was trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt, further refined his expertise in efficiency and quality management.
In 2019, after founding INVIXIA Construction, Victor realized the immense potential for improvement in swimming pool design and construction. Frustrated with the outdated methods of traditional pool builders, he obtained his own contractor’s license and built his first pool — quickly proving that a structured, engineering-driven approach had the potential to transform the industry. With that realization, he shifted his focus entirely to swimming pool design and construction, and AQUAVIX Pools was born.
